I just set up this plugin and I’m getting a lot of duplicate payments with Stripe. I am not doing free membership. There is only one membership and it is for the sole purpose of adding a body class so we can turn off the ads for anyone with the membership.
I’m selling a lot of memberships but lots of customers are paying 2 or 3 times in order to get through. Of the 144 subscriptions I’ve sold in the last couple of days, More than 30 of those had duplicate payments that I’ve had to refund.
Has anyone seen this issue or have any idea of what might be causing it?
I am using only Stripe for payments.
Without any debug logs, this will be difficult to assess. Please turn on the debug logs, then perform a test purchase. Check the debug logs to see how many times the purchase IPN was processed by SWPM. Also, if only a portion of members are having issues; it is an indication of something external to SWPM; otherwise every purchase would have issues.
