I downloaded and installed the Simple Membership Plugin – it was working great and then suddenly after about a week, when I’m logged into WordPress and want to Visit Site it goes to the correct page but kicks me out of being able to edit – and then shows another Login Screen and after I log in again, same issue.
Deactivate all plugin and can edit again – activated all but Simple Membership and SWPM Partial Protection and it works ok, can edit.
As soon as I activate just Simple Membership I can’t edit any longer.
Tried with just Elementor, Elementor Pro and Simple Membership activated and can’t edit.
Am I missing anything and how do I fix the problem – I love the plugin and don’t want to lose using it.
1. What is the list of plugins and themes you are using?
2. Did you add any new plugins or themes to the site, recently?
I may have fixed the issue – I turned off all the plugins except Membership and the issue was still there – I looked in Members and there was only one that was registered – one of my testing aliases, so I deleted that tester and the problem stopped.
I’m playing around with seeing if a registered tester interferes with my being logged into WordPress, as myself.
If I don’t see anything go wrong I’ll mark this as resolved.
Otherwise I’ll be back if it shows up again.
