ParticipantHi,
this is happening:
– I use a “PayPal Smart Checkout” button for payments
– When payment has been made, I can see the payment in the transactions
– Also in the member list a new member is added in state “activation required”
– The member data has name and surname, address, zip code and town
– All these data has been submitted by Paypal on successful payment
– Now the new user clicks on the activation link in the email that has been sent to him
– After successful registration now all his data in the member fields are gone, except for username, name and surnameHow can this happen? This should surely not be the case. What am I doing wrong or is it a bug?
Thanks.

ModeratorHi,
If you need to customize the registration form and collect various custom data from your members when they signup for a membership account then the form builder addon is what you need. Check the following link to learn more about the form builder addon.

Kind regards.

ParticipantHi,
thanks, I know. But I don’t need more ore customized fields, I only need to keep the already by Paypal transmitted data in the fields.I don’t want the buyer to put his data in the fields again, as they are already in WordPress. But after registration process these data fields are empty.

KeymasterThank you. The standard registration form of the plugin was originally created to handle just a few essential pieces of information. So it was not capable to handling the address data. I have made a code change to the plugin so it can preserve the address data of a profile (if that data was received from the payment gateway). This should solve the issue you explained in the next release of the plugin.
