    How/Where do I put the Stripe payment into TEST mode?

    Is it this, from the Payment General Settings?

    Enable Sandbox Testing
    Enable this option if you want to do sandbox payment testing.

    Enable this option if you want to do sandbox payment testing.

    Setting the above is only if you want to carry out a Sandbox test. Is this what you are trying to do?

    As I said above, I want to put the Stripe payment into TEST mode, to test it before I go live.

    Is that whe way I do it?

    Thanks, but my question was about this, which is in Simple Membership:

    Enable Sandbox Testing
    Enable this option if you want to do sandbox payment testing.

    Is this what I enable to run a test? Is that what sandbox means?

    Yes that is what you enable for testing purposes. However make sure you set up the Sandbox settings correctly or else you will run into issues when you carry out your test.
