ParticipantHello —
I’ve installed the free plugin, along with the premium add-on for the member directory.
When I setup my levels, and buttons, I am using paypal. I enter the paypal email address that i have, and tried to test one of my sign up buttons on the live page.
1. the button doesnt even display the text that I inputed. Where it asks what I want the button text to say.. I write “Sign Up” .. and instead, it shows “subscribe now!” ..
2. I click on it and it tries to load paypal, but instead gives an error that something isn’t right, and the url in the nav bar shows /webapps/shoppingcart/error?flowlogging_id=b0ccf948463cc&code=LACK_OF_BASIC_PARAMS
I double check the settings– everything is filled out, which is required, and correctly (I mean, there are only like 3 things to fill out). I also confirm it is not in sandbox mode.
3. I then think, hmm, maybe it’s a paypal issue and i should try stripe. I put my stripe api instead, where designated in the global settings. I create a new button, for stripe buy now mode. i place it on a page for testing, and view it on the front end. Once again, the button does not show the text that I specified in my settings.. Now, it says “buy now”.
I click it anyway, and now it DOES load up, showing the correct payment price, and a setting for me to proceed with payment.. only problem is, it’s on PAYPAL.. not through stripe!
What is up with this thing.
The website and page where i have a test button is here [childcareresources.com/professional-nanny-association]
Appreciate any help!

ParticipantMy question does not relate to the premium add on though. It is about the free membership plugin. The buttons are loading the price now, finally, but they do not show the title that I designate in the settings. Still say the wrong thing.
Also, it is not allowing the free plan. I click the setting to enable a free plan, and designate which plan id that is. Yet when I go to checkout on what should be the free plan, it just has a blank spot, where someone is supposed to enter their own payment amount on paypal.. and it will not allow 0 as an option.

ModeratorHi,

My apologies.

Regarding the free membership registration process, please check the following documentation. This should help you.

Let me know if you need more help.
