    Hello,
We have a problem trying to activate Single Sign On and are looking for some assistance.

We have built a website on WordPress and have restricted the website so that is for members only, keeping our content private from competitors in the same sector.
We are using Simple Membership plugin, as well as paid Simple Membership plugins such as the directory for member sign ups/member LOGIN and logout/creating a member directory, and for restricting the content.

The overall aim is for the website to connect to Freshdesk (which is our customer support portal). Freshworks is the parent group of Freshdesk, using Single Sign On.
We want people to be able to sign into our WordPress site – read our helpful content, and if they need further help, click the link Freshdesk and through SSO, be signed into Freshdesk.

Freshdesk has SSO capabilities on their backend thankfully, and provided us with generic instructions on how to set this up. However, they kept saying for us to contact our IDP (identity provider) to get access to the information we are missing.

We are trying to set it up using OAuth2 or SAML and are greeted with the following screenshots. At this point, we’ve run into a brick wall as we don’t know what to put into the following fields, especially as it relates to IDP info.

Any information would be greatly appreciated as look to finalise the last task before launching our site to the public.

Our authentication system is linked with the WP user’s authentication. We don’t really have anything for freshdesk unfortunately. This is not an advertised feature of our plugin.

If you can get a solution from them that will log the user into the WP user’s system, then it should work fine with our plugin also. We can take a look at it at that stage.
