How do you design a custom profile page using shortcodes? I want to design profile pages for non-logged in users to see. Why can’t this be done with shortcodes? I see you can design one for logged in users. I’d like to design a user-info page from the directory that is not the typical design used with [swpm_show_member_profile show_custom_fields=”1″] shortcode. There should be an easy way to do this with shortcodes given that you do this for logged in users. That’s one of my main needs for a membership plugin, otherwise, I won’t be able to use this plugin.

Hi Wild Dingo. I’m using this plugin and just figuring things out. I figured out that you can duplicate the shortcode on the profile page in a second column and then selectively hide and show things. I’m showing all custom fields in the second column and removing all of the default fields. It creates a slightly better design. I was hoping for more customization options, but I’m not finding them. I’d really like it if I could order my fields for display. The custom order of fields i the form don’t seem to affect the display. Hopefully someone will respond to this soon! It would make both myself and my client (and probably many others, yourself included) very happy!
The custom fields are shown in the same order that you put them in the “Edit Profile” custom form for that membership level. So if you want to re-order the fields, you can edit the custom edit profile form and change the order of the custom fields.
Thank you for your comment. The problem is, the fields are not shown in the order that I’ve put them in my admin… Is there maybe something that I can add to the shortcode to force that order?
I am using this same technique to change the page from a long list of fields into two columns. However, it would be nice to be able to hide the Username in the second column.
Is this possible?
