Documentation says:
Do the following to manually add member records to your site:
Click to the “Members” link from the Simple Membership Plugin’s admin menu.
Click on the “Add New” button which will bring you to the “add new member” interface.
Fill in the user details and hit the save button
There is no “save button” at the bottom. There is an “Add New Member” button, but clicking on that does not add the member.
Help?
Hi,
There is an “Add New Member” button, but clicking on that does not add the member.
When you click on Add New Member button, do you see any error messages displayed on your screen? Do you know if the member you are adding already exist in your site?
Kind regards
This is the very first member being added.
I do not get any error message… after clicking the Add New Member button, the page refreshes with the same information I had entered, minus password info.
PS I also tested for Plugin and Theme compatibility by deactivating all Plugins but SimpleMembership and also switching themes to WPSixteen. Still doesn’t work.
I also was unable to add a new user manually. However, after not seeing the “SAVE” button I put the cursor in the last input field “Member Since” and just hit the return key and it did add my user.
Try that (there is a popup calendar when you click in the field but just hit enter anyway). Actually I just tried it again by hitting enter when the cursor was in any input field and it added the user.
I hope this helps.
Also, developer team FYI, I tried this on Chrome in case it is a browser issue not displaying the “SAVE” button. I don’t think it is though. Perhaps a piece of code isn’t displaying the button in the form?
