ParticipantIn my development site, the auto login on registration works perfectly. On the live site, however, the user is not logged in as expected (no error message). I’ve compared settings, versions, looked at the logs and compared them between the sites but nothing stands out to me.
From this page: jrwxman.com/member-registration you sign up first as a free registered member, then you will be redirected to pick a plan – paid of free.
The Free option states the user is not logged in (and they aren’t). I’ve put the login form back on the member-registration page to check, so if you go back to it, you will see it’s not logged in.
If you perform the same workflow from devjrwxman.prowwwdesign.com/membership-registration it works flawlessly.
Here are the logs from the live site, which looks like they think the user is logged in, but they are not:
[06/09/2019 10:18 PM] – SUCCESS: Member registration complete email sent to:shadowdog14@mailinator.com. From email address value used:jrwxman@gmail.com
[06/09/2019 10:18 PM] – SUCCESS: Admin notification email sent to: xxxx
[06/09/2019 10:18 PM] – SUCCESS: Auto login after registration feature is enabled in settings. Performing auto login for user: shadowdog14
[06/09/2019 10:18 PM] – SUCCESS: Handling auto login request…
[06/09/2019 10:18 PM] – SUCCESS: After login redirection addon. Checking if member need to be redirected.Do you have any suggestions of what to do or how to troubleshoot further?
Thank you!

ParticipantI actually read the docs thoroughly several times before posting this help request. As I explained, this is working fine in my dev site, but in production it is not.
When I try to using the workflow in a regular browser window, I sometimes get this error which makes no sense to me – What is “nonce”? I assume this is because WordPress and/or the browser is trying to pick up my admin credentials even though I wasn’t signed in to the site: Auto login nonce verification check failed!
How do I troubleshoot why the user is not being auto logged in (or maybe is being logged out?), after registration? I provided URLs in my original post if you want to give it a try yourself to replicate the issue.
Thank you!

ParticipantThis continues to be a problem for me. Autologin is not working and I’m at a loss as to how to troubleshoot it.
I set up my regigstration page to go to the membership page to verify and it’s not showing the user as logged in.
Any help you can provide would be appreciated. You’re welcome to try this yourself by following the free sign up path on jrwxman.com.
Thank you!
