ParticipantI am currently using Paypal subscriptions for memberships. Can I use any payment processor when integrating Woo with plugin? If so, and I change payment processor (e.g., from paypal to square), how will this affect current members who want to upgrade, or renew after expiration? If I use paypal as an alternate option in woocommerce would I create new upgrade/renewal buttons accordingly (and remove current SMP upgrade/renew buttons)

ModeratorHi, have you purchased our integrating plugin for WooCommerce? If you have, can you create a premium support ticket.
Thank you

ParticipantNo, just asking capability before purchase. If you give refunds I will try it and see for myself

KeymasterCan you please check the contact form again now? I just tested it and it works fine for me.

ParticipantIt eventually worked.
Here is response I received from Matt to question:
“We never dealt with this kind of setup before. So I am going to say it is better if you look for something else (I don’t want to mislead you and then later it becomes a hassle).”
Does this guy work for the competition?

You can use any payment processor, that Woo supports.

- “No.” That is because when a SUBSCRIPTION (recurring payment) is created, the initial payment processor (PayPal, Stripe, et al) creates a “non-transferable payment contract” between themselves and the subscriber.
- On the other hand, if memberships are paid for using ONE TIME PAYMENTS, you can “switch” payment processors at will.

Please keep in mind that SWPM is Open Source code. There is no “competition,” and the developers are under no-pressure to support usage cases that are beyond the operational scope of the Open Source product.
On the other-hand, purchasers of the “Premium Addons,” get a higher level of personal support and more immediate attention; that is not available through the community support forum.
