We are having problems getting the email notificatons to work. We are now trying the SMTP solution. But at what time of the day is the email notifications sent? So if the user should get a reminder that their account with expire 5 days before it expires. When is this email sent? 00:01 on the 5th day?
Can this be changed?

ThanksThe exact time, the expiry event occurs; is based upon the WordPress cron functions, which usually means the first time “something” causes any pages of your WordPress instance to be “accessed” after midnight. The WordPress cron functions are considered to be highly inaccurate, so if your site is “brand new,” the (worst case is when) first time a person accesses it on any particular day is when everything kicks off.
