ParticipantHello, once again! I’ve downloaded the Custom Messages Add-on and I’m currently attempting to customize the messages for the non-logged in users. When I go to save and refresh the pages where it’s supposed to appear, nothing shows but the original message “You need to login to view this content. Please Login. Not a Member? Join Us”. Perhaps the solution to the issue is obvious, but I’m left stumped.
One, I want to completely remove “Join Us” since I’m a sole proprietorship. Two, I’ve already customized my messages, but I can’t seem to figure out how to get them to appear on my protected pages. Also, I have the Full Page Protection add-on, and I use that the most. Could that have anything to do with the reason my customized messages aren’t replacing the originals?
Appreciate the help!

ModeratorHi,

Can you disable the addon, then carry out a test? Let me know if the addon is causing this issue.
Also, please check the following documentation. Let me know if this helps you in any way.

ParticipantI’ve disable the add-on, but it’s difficult to tell whether it worked or not because I use Elementor and the content protection doesn’t work on those pages. I can use partial protection and Full Page protection with Elementor, but the typical content protection that requires me to say “Yes, Protect this page” doesn’t work. Also, the documentation, I’ve already read and it didn’t provide much towards a solution.

ParticipantI made a test page without Elementor and compared it to a page with Elementor. The page that doesn’t use Elementor shows the customized message. So the Full Page Protection does not enable the Customized Messages, it would seem.

ModeratorHi,
I use Elementor and the content protection doesn’t work on those pages.
Are you referring to the following plugin? If you are, we currently don’t have an integration addon for that plugin unfortunately.
Kind regards

ParticipantYes! So far, shortcodes seem to work, but since I use Elementor on several pages, the Full Page Protection is the only thing that works with that plugin. Hence why I was wondering why the Customization Messaging doesn’t appear with Full Page Protection. Perhaps it has to do with Elementor? Unfortunate there’s no integration. Will one be applied in the future, possibly?

KeymasterWe have released a new version of the full page protection and custom messages addons. Please upgrade those and you will be able to customize the protection message displayed by the full page protection addon.

ParticipantThank you for the updates! For some reason, though, my Full Page Protection refused to acknowledge there was an update and was stuck on V1.1 for a while. It wasn’t until I was forced to delete the plugin and reinstall it that it updated to the next version.
Anywho, I appreciate the help! It’s now working!! Thank you!
