    Hi,
A member tried to subscribe on my client’s website Saturday and this error showed up in the log, but I can’t find any documentation on it.
The Paypal payment worked properly, the IPN was sent and accepted, but the account isn’t created and the payment doesn’t appear in the admin either.
I tried to send the IPN again, and the same thing happened.
Here is the entire log after the IPN was received (I only removed the IP and client email) :

It also says “Saving transaction data to the database table” and “Transaction data saved”, but the transaction was NOT actually added to the table.

We recently had to tighten the permissions on our entire WordPress folder. Could this have anything to do with our problem? (Are there folders where this plugin needs to write to be able to access the database?)
    Everything worked fine before that.

    Thanks for your help.

    • Are the directory permissions a minimum of 0754 ???

    • Is your server preventing scripts from being invoked by non-WordPress files?

They are at 755 (folders) and 644 (files), but our server only allows WordPress to modify 775/664 folders and files. We keep getting hacked with 775/664 though, so I’m trying to avoid giving those permissions to anything unless really necessary.
But since it stopped working when we tightened the permissions, I figured it might be related and we might need to change some files and folders to 775/664 for the registration to work again.

Again, everything worked until we changed the permissions last week, so I assume not.
But the server got hacked last week, and it’s possible the host might have changed security after that.

I’d like to test the file permissions options before having to contact the host though.
