    Hi!
    I am providing 1 day trial to free memberships. Problem is that free membership account activates instantly without requiring email confirmation. Therefore, visitors can register again and again using invalid email addresses and able to use my membership website for free forever. Please! Tell me how to enable email confirmation or tell me the code that i need to add to enable this feature.

    Hi Murtaza Lanewala, have you enabled the Free membership level to expire after 1 day? You could also add the After Login Redirection Addon and add some message in the Free Membership Page letting them know they have one day to trial the site.

    If the same visitor registers again you should still have a record of their previous expired account “Not deleted”.

    Hello,

    I have only a free membership on my site as well. This plugin would be perfect if we had the ability to force email confirmation. I tried adding the {reg_link} variable in the Registration Complete email but it does not translate. Please let me know how to get this to work!

    @Chris, at the present that is not available. However you can set the Default Account Status to Pending. Then you can enable Send Notification to Admin when someone registers.
