Hi 3mediaweb can you provide more information, like why do you want to disable registration process when this is a membership plugin? What are you trying to achieve in your website.

    Regards

We want to control the users by manually registering them via the WP admin don’t want people to be able to register themselves.

@3mediaweb so your plan is to manually register users. One question, how are you planning on letting users know that you will register them manually? Are you planning on creating some sort of landing page to let them know.

In my case, I have a small group of people who meet regularly and I want to limit membership to these people. So I would just create memberships as per personal request.

@garydr does your method above work for you? Can you elaborate a bit more why you want to disable the registration?

If you don’t want users to be able to register then simply edit the registration page and remove the shortcode from there. You can put a message in that page telling the visitors that registration on this site is done manually.

You (the site admin) can add the members via the admin dashboard of this plugin.

Both the login and the error message informing the user they need to login, have links to “Join Us”. So now that I removed the registration page, it goes to a 404 not found page.

I need to be able to remove the “join us” links so people don’t have the option to register themselves.

@3mediaweb, don’t remove the registration page. Follow the instructions @admin suggested in the previous post.
