    I have got through setting everything up but am working locally with MAMP until the site is ready.. I set up IPN options in paypal, but am not getting an email after payment for subscription or the addition of new members to the site.. am I right in thinking the paypal system can’t reply to the site unless its online? i.e I won’t receive the email until the site is live?

    any info appreciated..

    Hi Alex you are correct, trying to receive e-mails locally using Mamp or Xampp requires extra settings.

    any idea where I can read about these settings? I would like to see it all working before I put it online! 🙂 thanks for your previous answer too 🙂
