    Since Google has abandoned First Click I am wondering whether there are any plans for extra features or add-ons to replace this? What I would love to have is something where we could allow guests to read #number of articles per month without having to subscribe.

    Any thoughts/plans? Thanks.

    “First Click Free” is a feature that is “baked into” Google’s search engine. There is no way for anyone to design an alternative for it, without Google’s cooperation.

    Sorry, let me try to be more clear. I wasn’t suggesting a replacement for google first click rather the replacement/update for the First Click add-on for SMP. The add-on enabled first time visitors to read posts / bypass login temporarily as well as search engines the be able to catalogue locked content.

    Are there any plans to add this feature to SMP or provide an addon that would:

    1. Allow search engines and web crawlers to catalogue locked content
    2. Allow visitors to access content – x number of posts per month or similar.
