Good morning and I want to mention how great this forum is for finding answers to questions and problems. I have WP Membership set up, have figured out how to work with it, and have purchased a couple addons. It’s working quite well for our needs so kudos to the developers.
But, I have been searching the documentation for the Form Builder Addon and it indicates I should be able to hide some fields from users as well as mark some fields as read only. But the screenshots in the documentation do not match what I actually see.
Could you please provide guidance on how to access these two features? I do not see either option available to me in the form builder.
Thank you in advance.
Here’s the documentation:
Using Read-Only Fields
You may want to show some text to your members that you don’t want them to be able to edit. You can mark a text or textarea field to be “read-only”. You (the site admin) can enter value in that field by editing the members profile from the admin area.
Using Show to Admin Only Fields
You can also mark a text or textarea field to be shown to the admin only (the members can’t see that field from their edit profile page). This can be useful if you need to save some notes about a member with the profile.
Hi, thank you for your nice words 🙂
For premium addons it is always best to create a premium support ticket.
Also always make sure you are running the latest version of the premium addon. Please check the following documentation.
Current version for the Form Builder Addon is 4.5.2.
