Tagged: protected pages, visible content, visible sidebar
I have a few pages set up, I have double checked that all the required pages are in place, and that all the pages that I want protected are selected “Yes, Protect this content.” and I have the appropriate Membership levels checked off.
It seems that only pages with full-width content that in side of the post-content area are being protected and have the “You need to login to view this content. Please Login. Not a Member? Join Us” message: [http://bluewatercondos.ca/members/board/]
And the members home page, which has a sidebar and blog posts in the main content area is also not protected properly: [http://bluewatercondos.ca/members/]. The sidebar is still visible when I’m not logged in.
When I AM logged in, I can still see the sidebar, but then I get a message that says “This content is not permitted for your membership level.” even thought I have triple checked all the settings.
This plugin doesn’t hide/protect the sidebar. It only protects the actual content of the post (the content you enter in the post/page editor).
