ParticipantWhen going to the checkout the email address does not get shown. However, it shows on the receipt. Is there a setting to hide that?

Are you referring to the PayPal generated pages? Your personal email address appears in the upper left corner of the screen, underneath your name?
Is there a setting to hide that?
Get a (free) PayPal verified business account.

ParticipantWhen the user clicks on the subscription button they go to the PayPal checkout page. On that page only the business name is shown. However, when the transaction is complete the user gets an email that shows the email address. It is also visible in the user’s PayPal transaction history.
I want to know how to only let the users see the business name. Please advise.

ParticipantI’m still interested in how to have a user make a payment and not see the PayPal email address of where the payment goes, either on their account or on their receipt.

That means you probably have a verified business account. Otherwise, your name and personal email address would also be shown.

That is impossible to do. PayPal does not allow “anonymous transactions,” because that would violate the consumer & tax laws of several countries. If the reason is because the email address is also your personal one; you can create & use a “business only” email address with PayPal.

ParticipantI’m not looking for anonymous transactions, just want to hide the email address. Perhaps then the only solution is to change the email address on the paypal to noreply@mydomain.com to prevent misdirected queries. Thanks anyway.

ModeratorTry something like PayPal2018 or donotreply2018 at yourdomain.com and then bump up the year, every 12 months. That’s what I do 😉
