Registration email not being sent

I’ve set up a membership category and when I go to test it, the payment is accepted, but I never receive a registration email. I’ve been testing it live with PayPal. I’ve made sure the sandbox mode is NOT checked. However, everytime I go to checkout, it takes me to PayPal like it should and processes the payment. I get confirmation from PayPal the payment went through, but I never receive the registration email. I’m sure it’s a setting I’m missing, but I need to figure it out.
