ParticipantWhen I click on the Logout link, it doesn’t log me out. It just takes me to the home page of my site.

ParticipantI have the same problem with not being able to log-out. I also have other problems when it says I’m logged-in, but I’m not. It sometimes says I’m not logged-in, but pages that are protected are still available. It seems random and there are many problems with this. I can’t seem to get it to work properly at all.

KeymasterThat indicates a caching problem. Are you using a caching plugin on your site?

ParticipantI thought that, too, but I have no WP cache enabled and I cleared cache on multiple machines.
I realized it started to happen after I installed the home page redirect plugin, so I disabled it and it started working for a while on one of my machines, but not the other one.
I’ve been playing with it all day and just can’t get it to work properly. I actually get different results on different computers (I have several computers).
When I first installed the plugin, I tested it and I didn’t have any problems. But sometime later (and after the redirect plugin) I have so many problems that the plugin just doesn’t work at all. Even after disabling the redirect plugin, it doesn’t work properly.

ParticipantI’m having this problem too and it’s becoming a serious issue. There are times when I’m logged-in, but still can’t access protected content without logging in. When I click login, its says I am already logged in, but still won’t show me the content. I end up stuck in an endless loop.
Occasionally, it just works. Then I seem to be fine for a few days until the problem re-occurs. A few weeks ago, I read somewhere on here that it was a caching problem, so I disabled my WP Super Cache plugin and cleared all my browser cache, but the problem persists.
Here’s my de-bug link:

Any help would be appreciated. Last week a client told me they had the same problem, so if I don’t get this fixed, I’m going to have to find another membership solution asap. I can’t have my clients running into this problem.

ParticipantYes, we continue to have major problems with it. Tried everything we can think of and spent many hours on it. We can’t seem to find any logic to the problems. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, and we can’t figure out why it’s random. We even put two machines next to each other and got different results doing the exact same thing on both machines.

Participantplease update the plugin. a lot of login specific code has been updated. i don’t see this issue in any of the installations i have. we really appreciate if any one willing to volunteer and let us have a look at his system where this is happening.

ParticipantHi Nur,
I installed the updated plugin this morning before posting here, but at that time – immediately after updating – the problem persisted. That’s why I came here to add to this thread.
However, at the moment, it’s working fine. That’s one of the frustrating things about this – I can’t duplicate the problem. It comes and goes without any apparent pattern. If and when the problem crops up again I’ll be happy to give you access to my site so you can poke around.
Thanks,

ParticipantI can give you access to my site as well if it will help. I have the same problem as Jason – it’s hit-and-miss and I can’t solidly duplicate it all the time.
I have the latest version 2.1.6 already.

ParticipantI also have the latest version and continue to have the problem. My domain host disabled my caching program and it still persists. Users are driving me crazy, and they’re losing faith in the site.

ParticipantDid anyone ever figure out a fix for this problem?
I’m having this problem currently.
