I’m handling membership paymentes outside of Simple Membership so I will request each user to fill out his registration.
When someone completes the registration form, the text shown is
Registration Successful! Please login
In my case, I’m manually approving the registration so they can’t really login until I’ve approved their account. So, I’d like to change the text to indicate the regiastation will be reviewed and they will receive an additional email when it is approved.
How can I do this – I tried using the swpm_front_end_registration_complete hook but couldn’t get the results I wanted.

Mike DicksonI am struggling with a similar issue – I need to import our current membership and have a letter go out to them with their username and password. they have paid, just not through simple membership. I can’t manually update 600+ members.

Never thought to look there because the plugin description says “The Custom Messages addon allows you to customize the content protection message that gets output from the membership plugin.”
So, since the registration submitted message has nothing to do with content protection, I am surprised it was there!
