ParticipantWhen someone fills out the form on the membership-join page, they go to a page that says “Registration successful. Please login”. The problem is I have the default acct status set to “pending” because I want the admin to have the ability to accept or reject the registration. I can’t find anywhere to change the “Registration successful. Please login”. Is there a way I can do this?

ParticipantThanks – That’s exactly what I needed. Also, is there a way I can add a message before the registration form that doesn’t appear after they submit it?

ModeratorAre you referring to adding a message above the contact form?

ModeratorHi, sorry for not typing the correct message. I meant to say are you referring to adding a message above the registration form?

ModeratorOkay, try the following. Find out your registration page. Then edit your page and type your message above the shortcode. To find out your membership pages, check the following documentation .
Let me know how you go.

ParticipantThanks – I tried that and it sort of works, but the message remains after the form is complete and then doesn’t make sense because there the normal after submit message appears on top and the message I create above the shortcode appears below it, duplicating the information. Is there a way I can have a message that appears before form submission but not after?

ModeratorHi, I now understand what you are trying to achieve. In that case having a message before the registration shortcode would not work in your situation.
The following documentation might help you.
Let me know if this would do the trick for you.

ParticipantIf I do this will it be eliminated with the next update?

ModeratorHi, if you add the filter hook to your child theme functions.php file you won’t loose this custom code when you update the plugin in the future.
