ParticipantAny chance you will be putting out a plugin that will allow a user the option of paying a one time fee to view a single protected article?

ModeratorHi, have you tried setting up a PayPal button for this? This payment would be a one time payment to view a blog post or a page.
Let me know if this works for you.
Regards

ParticipantThanks for answering.
But I’m not sure how that would work. Someone comes to the site, the article is protected with the Simple Membership plugin.
Then how would a paypal button one time payment grant access to that article?
thanks

ModeratorLets say that page 1 is the article.
Someone lands on page 1 and to view the article they have to pay. This might be called membership level 1. This membership level 1 never expires.
So the member that landed on page 1 paid for membership level 1 which never expires. So every time the member goes to page 1 they log in and they view the article. Now this level is only associated with page 1 not any other pages. So the member can only view page 1 and not any other pages.
Does that make sense to you?

ParticipantYes. But if the site contains a couple hundred articles, that would require hundreds of membership levels (and I would guess hundreds of different pay pal buttons). This would be tremendously difficult to manage.
It would be great to have functionality like other pay per view plugins, so I could offer my 1 standard subscription to see all the protected articles, AND a universal button to pay $X amount on any article to unlock just that article if the viewer doesn’t wish to become a subscriber.
P.S.
Simple Membership Plugin is working great since install.
I am having one technical issue, which I posted a reply on a much older threadhttps://simple-membership-plugin.com/forums/topic/login-re-directs-to-homepage-need-to-just-refresh-current/I don’t know if anyone sees the older threads but it would be great to get help with that, or if I should start a new thread for that let me know.
Thanks again!

ModeratorHi, I understand your suggestion. However at present the plugin does not cater for what you are asking. I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further your request.
In regards to your other comment, it is best to always start a new thread.
Kind regards

KeymasterI have added it to my list so I will look at adding a functionality for this in the future.
