Simple Membership Plugin › Forums › Simple Membership Plugin › Is there a way to track a code attached to a payment button?
I have several membership options (Veteran=$20, Individual=$60) that all lead to the same membership level (Active Member; id=2). Is there a way to keep track of which payment button was used (like an aff code or something)?

That would do almost… what I really want is to know that
userid 12 used swpm_payment_button id=516 (and preferably userid 12 used paybutton_516, sourcetuple=”MailCampaign=3217;listid=2″); if I can stick a get-field in there and have it “prepopulate” a form field not shown to the user, it would be awesome (then I could use the Export Data plugin to get the data back out).

You need to make different membership levels to do what you are after. That is the recommended method of tracking which payment is for which membership level.
You can have as many levels as you want and you can give them same content permission (if you are offering access to the same content).
