Hi!
I’m using simple membership in combination with business directory plugin to run a volunteer directory. So the membership to our site is free to approved volunteers. However, in order to encourage our volunteers to make sure their directory listings are kept up to date we require that they renew yearly. From what I can gather from the back end information and from the documentation for both Simple Membership and Business Directory it appears that the renewal process is just for the directory listing. Does this mean their website access will be revoked after that 1 year mark? Do I also need our volunteers to renew specifically with Simple Membership? If so can you direct me to some procedures on how to set that up for free accounts?Thanks!
Hi, please read the following documentation. This will allow your members to renew their account once the 12 month period is up.
If the above is what you want then make sure the membership level duration period is set to 12 month. Let me know if you need more help.
