    I’m creating a members website for my downline in my network marketing business. I don’t want to charge for members, however, I need to approve each person to make sure they are in my organization. Is there a way to create a custom field where they can put in their company ID? Also, is there a way make it so I have to approve them first before they are granted an account?

    question 1:
    you need to use addon to include custom fields in the form

    question 2:
    in settings->General Settings, you can set “Default Account Status” to “Pending”. so when a new user registers, she has to wait for approval.
