Hi there,
In your renewals documentation, you say the following:
“When logged-in members pay for the membership level, their account access gets extended.”
It appears to be working OK for PayPal, but it isn’t working for Stripe payments. I had a member renew just now. His existing membership had another week to run, so was due to expire on 2017-02-23. Yet his new membership has the access date set to 2017-02-16.
I don’t know if it is relevant, but he was renewing to a different membership level.
Would you be able to check your code?
Many thanks,
JohnF
Thank you John for reporting this.
The plugin developers will investigate further.

If he is going to a different membership level then this condition doesn’t apply.
Two different membership levels are completely two different products. Can’t mix apples and oranges. You can manually edit the member’s profile and change the access start date value if you want to give him extra time.
Oh dear, that’s a shame.
I do have both apples and oranges, but I also have different sizes of apples and oranges.
Let me explain: I offer an individual membership at £10.00 for 1 Year. But for those people who are unsure if they are going to like the product, I also offer shorter periods. So I have:
1 Year @ £10.00
6 months @ £6.00
3 months @ £4.00
The scenario is that some people try one of the product periods, and then choose to take a different period next time they renew.
You are saying that if they do choose a different period, then any time left remaining on their current one will be lost.
I will need to put a clear explanation on the Renewals page to warn people about this.
Thanks for your help,
JohnF
