InactiveMy Confirmation Emails have stopped being received by new members. I realized this last night when a new member did not get his confirmation email, so I have done several tests tonight registering my brother, using debug.
All is successful as per: [02/05/2017 10:21 PM] – SUCCESS: Member signup/upgrade completion email successfully sent to: [my brother’s correct email address]
I have checked his spam folder and it’s not there. I would be surprised if it was because it is coming from my email address, and I’ve been using his email and PayPal account for years to do my testing.
I have read your documentation, and I follow all the guidelines including SPF, DKIM, DMARC records, rDNS, etc. so the mail is not being rejected due to spamming.
What do I try next?

ModeratorHi Mary, is this for paid or free accounts?

InactiveThis is the paid for memberships. Remember, we couldn’t find a way to send an email link for the free memberships.

ModeratorHi Mary, the best option for you right now is to keep the Debug mode enabled. Next time someone registers, check the log files and report back.

ModeratorPerhaps it is best to wait until someone new registers. Since you have already tested this feature using your brothers e-mail address.

InactiveOK my Systems Admin found the problem.
Exim recently was updated during regular cPanel update and changed its behavior to more strict.
Due to this stored email settings work in other way than expected and local relay is not allowed anymore. To resolve the issue I have switched mail settings for christiangays.com sites to use php_mail and adjusted outgoing conf.
Test message has been successfully received. We have 2 further options:
1. Lease as is, using php_mail feature (should not cause any problems)
2. setup correct mail auth.To proceed with option 2 – kindly clarify the current pass for mary@ChristianGays.com mailbox and I will setup needed settings.
Or confirm and I will create dedicated mailbox and specify it as auth for outgoing mailsFebruary 7, 2017 at 9:20 pm #10063mbrsolution
ModeratorI am glad you solved your problem and thank you for sharing your solution.
Regards
