Hello,
I have noticed this when integrating your plugin and I’m not sure if this is a bug or part of your design:
1) I would like to have the blog page on the website but the problem is when I go on the back end and privatize the content, it doesn’t show up on the front end at all. I would love for there to instead be a read more portion and when they click on read more, they get a pop-up or a notification that says they have to be logged in and redirects them to join. Does this do that and I’m just missing it??
2) Another problem I’m running into is that when you protect the content, you can’t view the post to make sure it’s okay. Now, when I go look at the post through the categories, that is the only way I can see the post and edit the post that way. Is this done by design or is this an error??
Holding on making my website go live as I await your reply!
Thanks
1) The blog post will still be there. The content of the post will just be protected. The protected content (the body of a post) gets replaced with a message like the following:
This content is for members only …..
2) You just have to log in as a member to view the post. You can create an admin membership level (that only your admin user has access to). When protecting content give that level access to everything.
Okay. Thank you.
For anyone else wondering, I found this plugin works for scheduling your content. This way, it doesn’t all show up at once.
