Hi
My Simple Membership plugin is giving me the following error message – ”
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/amandag/public_html/learntarotonline/members/wp-content/plugins/simple-membership/classes/class.swpm-auth.php on line 351″
I had to deactivate it to be able to get into my website. I have tried updating to the latest version and I still get the same message. I can’t re-activate the plugin.
my website is learntartonline.com/members
How do I fix this please?
Thank you.
Amanda
Hi, can you speak to your host and find out what PHP version your server is running?
Thank you
Your server is using a very old version of PHP so you are seeing that error.
WordPress recommends using at least PHP v5.6. Our plugin should work fine if you use PHP5.5 or higher. You should ask your hosting provider to upgrade your PHP to a more recent version then you won’t see the issue.
