Everything was working fine until this afternoon. The login process works perfect on desktop, but on mobile, you don’t get redirected to the correct membership level page, which is set on each membership per the documentation and of course, I have the Simple Membership After Login Redirection plugin activated.

On mobile, you log in and get the page reloaded, no redirection. No matter what browser or phone I try.
It used to work fine on mobile, until today.Desktop works perfect, the problem only appears on mobile.

Has anyone experienced that, and if so, any ideas on how to fix it?

    • What mobile device and browser/version are you using?

    • Did you personally observe this?

    • Did you try a different mobile device?

    • Did you try clearing the browser’s cookies & cache?

    Hi The Assurer,

    • iPhone – tried on Safari, Chrome, and a “private” browser app. Safari and Chrome repeated the error of just reloading the page rather than redirecting to the correct page. The private browsing app did it correctly.

    • Yes, I personally observed and tested this. It was working fine upon setup all the way to this morning. After around afternoon I got a message from another person who got the same error, and then I checked and got it too.

    • I tried on 2 other iPhones (all that I have access to). Same mistake.

    • Yes, I cleared the cookies and cache, and that fixed it. But after a while it started doing it again.I need to prevent this from happening to my users.

    Any ideas?

Please post a URL, 1 or 2 TEST credentials and DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS on what to look for.

The Assurer, in hopes of not wasting your time, I just received notice that the other person who tested it did NOT clear the cache correctly on her phone, but now that I sent her the instructions everything seems to be working. At least it is also working on mine. And I will keep testing it.

I will assume that “clear cache” is the fix. If I get a repeat error I will definitely come back to the forum.

Thank you for being so prompt and for suggesting the fix that works so far!
